Hi people,
hope everyone doing great.Last month was really exciting and happening for me.Guess why??I got my new bike my first bike. So the plan went like this i made a request to my dad that i need a vehicle to commute to my college. First i started with splendour then slowly gradually raised my budget to Bajaj Discover. Then atlast i ended with pulsar.Dad said ok without even a bit of refusal.I was on cloud nine.Really cant believe whats happening around me.So we went to a near by bajaj dealer got the quotation and fixed the date of purchase also. But the day before the purchase my friend called and told me that pulsar has some problems with gear shifting so go for either Apache or Hunk.I was like totally shocked dont know how to tell about this change of plan to my dad.I silently went and got quotation for Apache rtr160(yellow)and gave to ma dad and told him straight that i love this bike better than pulsar.he had no choice rather than accepting it(lol). The next day we went to the TVS showroom where the bike was readily available .When i saw my bike first wow it was a jaw dropping look man ,looking very muscular ,stylish and as majestic as a lion. When i rev'd the bike it sounded more like a race bike. I cant resist anymore so went for a short drive . I was literally waiting ,counting every second in the clock for my bike to complete all those registration stuffs. Atlast i got it after 4 days of my booking.
Few details about the bike:
- The bike has a pretty good driving comfort more like a racing stlye(you got to bend a little to reach the handle bar).
- At higher RPM's the bike doesn't have much of vibration and its remains sturdy.
- The brakes are awesome ,the new petal shaped front discs really giving a solid stop at high speeds.
- The pickup is awesome it reaches 0 to 60 in 8 seconds (thats my own statistics).
- The top speed is 113km per hour.
- The handle come with an adjustable pattern.
- It has LED tail lamps
- Black alloys
- Bull horn shaped rear handle
- maximum power of 15.2bhp at 8500 rpm
- Bajaj Pulsar type LCD speedometer
- Leaf shaped rear view mirror
- New aluminum foot pegs and aluminum levers
- Wheelbase is increased to 1300mm from the current 1260mm
- bike of the year 2007
So having a happy ride daily to my college and no need to be dependent on my 10 years old scooty(lol)
