Beijing Olympics 08'-Badminton stadium

Recently i heard about the new indoor stadium built exclusively for Beijing olympics 2008 Badminton game.The main highlight of the stadium is that it is built in the shape of the shuttle cock.The designers carefully made its shape with the help of several steel trusses.It's highly impossible to bring a structure like that because even a minute miscalculation could lead to disastrous results.The designers were supposed to maintain an internal air velocity of just 0.2m/s so that the players will have a right conditions for playing effectively.So in order to achieve that they used sophisticated air conditioners which provides effective ventilation inside the stadium.This stadium will stand as a masterpiece and as a main highlight in the Beijing Olympics 2008!!
