Maruti Astar review

Yet another economical version of Maruti is "Astar". It is a five seater hatchback car. Its front design looks quite similar to Hyundai's i10 but pretty small when compared to its size. The Astar is equipped with 998cc, 3 cyl, MPFi, KB-series petrol engine. The can generate 67 Bhp at 6200 rpm which is quite good for such a small car. The car was made according to the European standards and the company has planned to export the car under different names to 150 countries. The interior of the car is a bit cramped and it is not much comfortable for those who are 6" tall.( Obviously not for me:)).The body of the car has a 'butterfly wing' design so the rear windows are small when compared to the front ones. Like the Maruti's swift has launched A-Star in 3 variants - Lxi, Vxi & Zxi.
The top version Zxi has the following features:
1) Power windows.
2) Power Steering.
3) Remote central locking.
4) Driver & Passenger Airbag.
5) Anti Lock Braking System (ABS).
6) Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD).
7) CD Player with 4 Speakers.
8) Dash-Mounted Tachometer.
9) Remote Boot & Remote Fuel Filler.
10) Rear Defogger with Rear Wiper/Washer.
11) Fog Lamps.

Prices of the three variants are:
(Ex-Showroom Mumbai)

Lxi - 364500.00(INR)
Vxi -
396500.00(INR)
Zxi -
432000.00(INR)

This car is pretty good for heavily crowded cities like chennai as parking space required for this car is very less and it is quite fuel efficient too!
